B&B’s in and Around Capestang

LE BOBO is a stylish and unique Guest House located in the centre of Bize-Minervois which is one of the prettiest villages in the South of France, with it’s ancient ‘centre historique,’ cobbled streets, and the crystal clear River Cesse, ideal for swimming on hot summer days.  The interior of this delightful B&B reflects its name, meaning the ‘Bourgeois and Bohemian’.  This maison de maître gives you the feeling of being in a ‘petit chateau’ with it’s 12th century rampart walls, wide hallway and landings, high ceilings, original tiled floors and shutters.  The house keeps beautifully cool in the summer due to its thick stone walls, tiled floors, high ceilings, and shutters. Bedrooms also feature ceiling fans for added comfort, quality mattresses, cotton sheets, duck down pillows, and duck down quilts for the winter months.

La Bellifontaine is a very pleasant place to stay or a stopping place of charm. It is housed in a renovated 20th century house and has 4 charaterful rooms and a lovely garden with a swimming pool

La Souqueto is a sensitively restored and renovated townhouse in a small medieval village close to the Canal du Midi.   It can accommodate up to 10 adults in 5 double bedrooms – 3 with large en-suite bathrooms, and 2 that share a bathroom between them. Fluffy towels, toiletries and hairdryers are provided.

Maison des Palmiers is a beautiful bed and breakfast and during July and August you can rent the entire house on a self-catering basis for up to 12 guests. It’s located in the very pretty village of Bize-Minervois which is close to Capestang and is perfectly placed to visit he region of Languedoc. There is a lovely garden where you can sit in the shade of the trees or sunbathe by the swimming pool and enjoying your breakfast in the garden or the conservatory.

Maison Quarante is peacefully situated at the end of the ‘Grand Rue’ in the heart of the village of Quarante. This magnificent and charming house was built in 1805 and has been carefully and sympathetically renovated.  The elegant rooms are spacious with high ceilings and have been beautifully furnished.   The beautiful dining room with adjoining drawing room has French doors leading out onto the terrace where you can have breakfast and dinner. The swimming pool is situated away from the house at the bottom of the garden, surrounded by palm trees and a generous seating area. There is always plenty of space in the garden for all kinds of activities: breakfast, swimming and socializing – or just relaxing in peace and quiet.

The Belvedere is a charming B&B in the village of Quarante and is set in a modernised 18th Century building and in a beautiful village surrounded by vineyards. The Belvedere offers 5 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 12 adults in 3 doubles bedrooms and a family suite for 5 people, all with private bathrooms. The village of Quarante sits on a hill surrounded by vineyards and is a thriving, picturesque, and typical French village. It’s a fabulous place for a holiday in this beautiful region.
