This unique French cooking class will show you timeless methods and provide you with useful skills and simple tips that will help you to create classic French cuisine with a modern twist!
You will use fresh, locally sourced ingredients, many from the market gardens where this lovely cooking class is located, right on the banks of the Canal du Midi. The recipes change with the season and you will be shown how to adapt them to suit the produce available.

You will prepare seasonal starters, learn to trim French cuts of meat, poultry and fish. No French cooking course would be complete without the perfect French sauce and of course delicious classic desserts. You will also learn about traditional techniques such as curing, preserving and simple cheese making.
Your chef and mentor for the day is Heather Hayes, a qualified and passionate Chef who has practised her skills in many parts of France. After the course you will enjoy eating the fruits of your labour by the side of the Canal du Midi accompanied by refreshing local wines.

Private Classes can be arranged and prices start from €550 depending on the number of people in your group.

Our Scheduled tours are for small groups of between 4 and 8 people. When you request a place on a Scheduled tour we will reserve your place and when we have a total of 4 reservations the tour will be confirmed.
