This vineyard tour includes a wine tasting cruise on the Canal du Midi
This varied tour begins with a visit to a local olive oil producer where we learn how the olives are harvested and pressed to produce delicious oils. Languedoc olive oil was famed until the freeze of 1956 when many of the trees died so it is a delight to see this very traditional produce returning to the region.
Lunch is always a very important part of our tours and today you will enjoy a 3 course meal in the Minervois countryside made from fresh and local ingredients.
A wonderful Canal du Midi wine tour! If you need more convincing, check out our video:
After lunch we will visit the beautiful village of Minerve where your guide will explain the role this village played in the Cathar crusade which took place over 800 years ago and you will have a little free time to stroll through this bijou village.
