Wine Tastings

Enjoy a fun and relaxed wine tasting. Its a great way to learn about the wines of the Languedoc-Roussillon and taste a wide and diverse range of top class wines from various parts of the region.

In the world of wine, a lot has changed in Languedoc Roussillon over the past 20 years. Gone are the days of ‘cheap and cheerful’, a quality revolution has taken place here ! The wines are still good value but no longer simple. These days most of them are delicious, complex and very well made and during this wine tasting you will discover why this is the most up and coming and diverse wine region in France.

Our tasting room is just 15 minutes north east of Carcassonne set in the traditional winemaking village of Villeneuve-Minervois and surrounded by vineyards through which, before we begin the tasting, we invite you on a optional stroll to learn a little about the indigenous and newcomer grape varieties and how they are grown and cared for. Afterwards you will return to the tasting room to sample 8 carefully selected Languedoc wines selected from different parts of the region. To accompany the wines there will be a delicious grazing platter of cheeses, charcuterie, olives and bread.

Scheduled Tastings at our tasting room in the Minervois

Scheduled Tastings are available to anyone who wants to join others at our tasting room in the Minervois and the price includes 8 wines, a grazing platter and transport from Carcassonne. We need a minimum of 4 people for an open tasting to go ahead any day of the week.

Private tastings are available every day of the week at our tasting room in the Minervois

Prices are dependent on how many people are in your party.

The price includes 8 wines and a delicious grazing platter and transport from Carcassonne or nearby. 

Private tastings can also take place at your holiday home – available everyday – From 2 people to 8

One of the Vin en Vacances team will come to your holiday rental and introduce you to a fabulous range of Languedoc-Roussillon wines during a fun and informative private wine tasting just for you and your friends. (Within 25km radius of Carcassonne and further afield by special arrangement).

The prices includes 8 specially selected wines which are left with you after the tasting for you to finish and enjoy in your own time. We also bring a delicious grazing platter to accompany the wines.
